Do you only serve Oakland, CA?
While Oakland is our focus, we are available for classes throughout Alameda county and neighoring counties. Naturally, we’re happy to visit you in Richmond, Berkeley, San Leandro, etc…
Which class is right for me?
Sometimes this is easier to answer by phone (feel free to call 925-335-6076), but generally speaking, those working in Healthcare need the BLS Provider course and those outside of healthcare will take layperson versions of CPR/AED & First-Aid.
Where are you located?
One of the nice things about us, is we bring the class to you! Anywhere in Oakland, our instructors will bring all the CPR training equipment and manikins to your home or office. We’re a mobile service serving the entire city of Oakland and it’s neighbors.
Can you teach CPR to kids?
Absolutely! Everybody should learn CPR, though we’ve found kids aged 10 and up tend to do better. Younger children can and should learn it as well, though classes may be shortened and simpified to accomodate varying attention spans and maturity levels.
Will you come to our home?
In-Home CPR classes can be a lot of fun! Motivations for these classes vary, and in many cases where Oakland families, friends and neighbors simply want to be prepared to help one another, these classes can be taught at your home and are often turned into a it of a learning party with food and drinks!
How long is certification good for?
Certification are valid for two years, with two exceptions: 1) Bloodborne Pathogens training certs are valid for 1 year, and 2) Not every class provides certification – some of our training is non-cert.
Non-cert course provide the same information, but save you money, so if you don’t need the training for formal reasons, this is a good option.
